Just this last week in New Orleans, the leaders of the Hankton narcotics organization, the Big Easy’s biggest urban drug conglomerate of all-time, were convicted in federal court in a sweeping racketeering and murder case. At the forefront of the case was Bayou kingpin “Wild Telly” Hankton and his top enforcer and hit man Walter “Moonie” Porter. Hankton is 40, Porter 39. They are already both in prison serving time for murder. The Gangster Report breaks down the case here.
