January 7, 2025 — On the heels of three months of incarceration stemming from yet another temporary parole rescinding, Montreal Hells Angels Motorcycle Club veteran and convicted hit man, Jacques (The Spade) Pelletier, is free once again.

Canada’s parole board ruled last week that Pelletier, 69, did not in fact violate his parole in an October 2024 road collision, where he refused a breathalyzer test, but did submit blood work that showed he was not under the influence at the time of the crash. Per the accident report, he spent three days in the hospital as a result of another vehicle cutting him off in traffic and causing the wreck.

Pelletier is on lifetime parole because of his role in the notorious March 24, 1985 Lennoxville Massacre where five members of the Hells Angels North Montreal Sherbrooke chapter were executed in a purge orchestrated by the club’s South Montreal chapters because of the Northsiders growing unruly, drug-addled and refusing to take orders. Hells Angels Sherbrook boss Laurent (the Englishman) Viau and four of his top lieutenants, Jean-Guy (Brutus) Geoffrion, Jean-Pierre (Matt the Crosser) Mathieu, Michele (Mad Willie) Mayrand and Guy-Louis (Pork Chop) Adams were beaten and shot to death that day in a show of force and that Hells Angels business came before partying.

One of four men of a suspected 15 who took part in the vicious bloodletting that was carried out in front of dozens of Hells Angels, Pelletier served 27 years behind bars for the murders. He was initially granted parole in 2013, however has returned to jail five times for various violations of his parole restrictions. Part of his parole is linked to staying sober and not being present at establishments that’s main source of revenue is alcohol and liquor sales.
