January 30, 2025 — Six Blood Family Mafia members were arrested by local police in Quebec City Wednesday morning and charged with drug and weapons offenses tied to the ongoing BFM shooting and fire-bombing war being waged against the Quebec City Hells Angels Motorcycle Club. Authorities acknowledge the motivation behind the round-up was to weaken the “Ice Pick” reign from abroad on the home front.

Enigmatic crime lord David (Ice Pick) Turmel and his BFM crew declared war on the Hells Angels two years ago. They originally had the backing of the Sicilian Rizzuto mob in Montreal. Turmel’s whereabouts are unknown right now and no longer can boast the co-signing of the Rizzutos. At the time of the BFM-Sicilian mob alliance, the Rizzuto borgata and the Hells Angels were combatants in their own war for control of gambling, narcotics and prostitution rackets in Quebec and Ontario. The Rizzuto organization and the Hells Angels made peace in December however, and are once again business partners and the Rizzutos have pulled their support of BFM continuing to escalate its feud with the Hells Angels, per multiple sources.

BFM and the Hells Angels Quebec City chapter have previously publicly announced two cease fires in the conflict (one last March and the other back in the fall) that failed to stick. Before gaining the initial support of the Rizzutos back in ’23, “Ice Pick” Turmel had successfully consolidated all the street gangs in Quebec City under the BFM banner to oppose the Quebec City Hells Angels traditional 10 percent tax on all drugs sales being conducted in the area. The Hells Angels-employed No. 1 collector of that tax, Micheal (Dooney) Guerin, was gunned down in November 2023 as he shoveled snow in his front yard.

Turmel, 28, took off for Europe that summer and has been a fugitive of the law in Canada ever since. The Hells Angels reportedly placed a $500,000 murder contract on his head last February after Turmel ordered the kidnapping and torture of two of Quebec City Hells Angels Sergeant-at-Arms Mario (Bananas) Auger’s cousins. Just last week, Hells Angels debt collector Alex Maltais survived a drive-by shooting in Quebec City. That same day, Hells Angels affiliate Antoine de Margerie-Blais was killed in Montreal.

The violence began in March 2023 after Turmel discovered a GPS tracking device attached to his SUV and responded by shooting up the home of Quebec City Hells Angels prince Matt Pelletier, his former partner in the drug and pimping game. Pelletier’s dad is Quebec City Hells Angels founder Marc (Big Tom) Pelletier. The RCMP is offering $250,000 reward money for information leading to Turmel’s apprehension. “Mario Bananas” Auger, currently incarcerated facing his own drugs and gun case, traveled to Portugal in late 2023 with a peace offering, but, Turmel rebuffed the offer and refused to meet with him.
